About the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority

Nature of the role
This is a purely contractual engagement, initially for one year, extendable by two more years. The Consultant (Legal) is listed under the reserve panel / wait list for future vacancies, if any. The panel stays valid for one year or as decided by the Competent Authority. It is not part of the seven main vacancies notified in the same circular. Selected persons support legal work related to the authority’s functions.
Who applies / who skips
Apply if you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, are enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India or a State Bar Council, and have two years of relevant post-qualification experience. Good communication and analytical skills and working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, are expected.
Skip if you do not have the law degree plus advocate enrolment and the two years of experience by the last date, or if you are outside the age band of 32 to 35 years. Fresh graduates without the experience should not apply for this panel.

Notice Date: 05 October 2026. Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 26 October 2026. Cut-off for age and experience is the last date. No application fee is printed. Shortlisted candidates are informed by email at least 10 days before the interview and computer proficiency test. No TA/DA is paid.
