What EdCIL and AAI actually do
EdCIL (India) Limited is a Mini Ratna Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Education. It handles project management, consultancy and recruitment support for government education and other schemes. Airports Authority of India (AAI) manages civil aviation infrastructure across airports in the country. This engagement places legal consultants at AAI’s Regional Headquarters Southern Region in Chennai to support legal work for the organisation.
What kind of role this is
This is a full-time contractual engagement, not a regular cadre post in AAI or EdCIL. The initial period is one year. It can be extended one year at a time, but the total time any consultant spends with AAI under this policy cannot exceed five years. You work at RHQ/SR, Chennai. The consultant is not a staff member of AAI and has no claim to regularisation.

The candidate should be eligible to get himself/herself enrolled as an Advocate in the Bar Council of India to practise in courts in India. Experience: 08-10 years of post-qualification experience in legal work. Upper age limit: 45 years as on 27.10.2026. Place of engagement: RHQ/SR, Chennai. Remuneration: consolidated fixed monthly remuneration (all inclusive) of Rs 1,50,000.
