What Delhi State Legal Services Authority actually does
Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) works under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987. It provides free legal aid to eligible persons in Delhi. District Legal Services Authorities (DLSAs) maintain panels of Legal Services Advocates who appear for aided persons in courts. This notice is for regular panels across listed DLSAs. It is not a government cadre job with a monthly salary. Empanelled advocates are paid as per the DSLSA fee schedule when they handle assigned cases.
What kind of role this is
This is empanelment for a period of three years from the date of result notification, subject to performance. It is not permanent employment. Advocates appear in the courts of the chosen panel and DLSA for legal aid beneficiaries. Headquarters and work are in Delhi district courts. There is no bond printed.
Who should apply — and who should skip
Apply if you are an advocate enrolled with a recognised Bar Council and you meet the minimum continuous practice experience for the panel you choose, calculated from the date of enrolment as on 19 October 2026. Choose one panel and one preferred DLSA only. Magisterial and Civil panels need at least 3 years. Sessions, Family, POCSO and ADJ-related panels need at least 5 years. CBI courts need at least 10 years.
Skip if you cannot practice in Delhi courts, if you already plan to apply for more than one panel or DLSA (multiple applications are rejected), or if your experience falls short of the panel minimum. Fresh advocates without the required years should wait.

Educational qualifications
| Post | Degree / marks | Experience / extras |

| Legal Services Advocate (all panels) | Advocate enrolled with a recognised Bar Council | Panel-wise minimum continuous practice years as on 19.10.2026 (3, 5 or 10 years depending on panel) |
Selection
- Administrative scrutiny of online forms. Only those who meet eligibility are shortlisted.
- Interview by the Interview Board. Evaluation covers litigation experience, personality, commitment, professional acumen, presentation and ethics.
- Document verification of originals at interview.
- Results displayed on dslsa.org. Waiting list may be prepared, valid for three years.
Tie-breaker: seniority by enrolment date, then age, then draw of lots. Empanelment is for three years, extendable at discretion. Selected advocates already on another panel must relinquish one within one month of result.
