Nature of work

• Handling and monitoring court cases before the Supreme Court, High Courts, CAT, Consumer Commissions and other courts/tribunals pertaining to the Institute.
• Drafting and vetting para-wise comments, counter affidavits, written statements, replies, appeals and other legal documents.
• Coordinating with Government Counsel / CGSC / Panel Advocates, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and the Department of Legal Affairs.
• Rendering legal opinions on administrative, service, contractual, procurement, medico-legal and RTI matters.
• Maintaining and updating registers/databases of court cases, including on LIMBS or any other prescribed portal.
• Any other work assigned by the Director / Competent Authority.

Selection

1. Walk-in interview on the notified date.
2. Document verification with originals. Candidates without original documents will not be allowed to appear.
3. If the number of candidates is large, the Hospital may shortlist on the basis of qualifications/experience or conduct a written test/screening before the interview.
4. A panel may be maintained in order of merit for one year or as decided by the Director.
