PFRDA internship 2026 — ₹10,000, law year 4 and 5

Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority

Added on 7 Oct 2026 by AAG Legal

What the notice says

PFRDA internship 2026 follows circular PFRDA/2014/08/HR/01 dated 21 November 2014. That circular is still listed under active circulars on pfrda.org.in. There is no fresh last date on the page. Law students in the fourth or fifth year of a five-year course, with at least 80 percent in Class 12, are in the eligibility line. The PDF is Internship in PFRDA.pdf. Confirm the email and office address on the live site before you post papers. The circular is eleven years old and still hosted.

What PFRDA actually does

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority regulates the National Pension System and related pension schemes. It is a statutory regulator, like SEBI is for the securities market, but for pensions. Interns are asked to learn NPS architecture, intermediaries, pension-fund investment and policy work. This is not a court internship.

The address printed on the circular is General Manager (HR and Administration), PFRDA, 4th Floor, ICADR Building, Institutional Area Phase II, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi 110070. PFRDA’s public pages now also show a Vasant Kunj office. Use the address on the live contact page if it differs from the 2014 line.

What kind of seat this pfrda internship 2026 is

This is a student internship, not a job. Duration is up to six months, in two cycles: January to June, and July to December. Minimum duration under normal circumstances is two months. Token remuneration is Rs 10,000 per month. Fifty percent of the stipend is payable on satisfactory completion and on submission of the report or paper. If you work for less than a month, no stipend is paid.

You sign a declaration of secrecy before you report. Office space and a computer with internet are printed as logistics support. Reports become the property of the Authority. A seminar is held once a month. Interns who submit reports present them before senior officers.

Who should apply — and who should skip

Apply if you are in the fourth or fifth year of a five-year integrated law course at a university of national or international repute, and you had at least 80 percent in the Class 12 examination. The same circular also lists first-class graduates doing a master’s in economics, commerce, MBA in corporate finance or financial management, business economics, financial studies or MFC, and students at the final level of CA, CFA, CS or CWA.

Skip if you are in a three-year LL.B. That course is not in the law line. Skip if you are in the first, second or third year of a five-year course. Skip if Class 12 marks are below 80 percent. Skip if you need the full Rs 10,000 every month in hand from day one. Half is held back until the report. Skip any message that asks for a registration fee. No fee is printed.
