What the notice says
IICA internship 2026 is a full-time seat at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The guidelines do not print one closing clock. HR scans website applications at the end of each month, and the Internal Selection Committee ordinarily meets in the first week of the next month. For an October 2026 file, treat 31 October 2026 as the practical month-end. Apply only on iica.nic.in/Online_Internship.aspx. The written rules are in the IICA internship guidelines PDF.
If you are in Class 12 and new to this word: an internship is a short work spell inside an office, not a job and not a college seat. IICA trains officers and companies on company law, insolvency, CSR and governance. A law student here reads files and writes notes. You are not hired as staff.

What IICA internship 2026 actually is
IICA sits at Plot No. 6, Sector 5, IMT Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana 122052. The Minister for Corporate Affairs is President of IICA. The Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, chairs the Board of Governors. Interns can be placed in a School, a Centre or a Department: Corporate Law, Competition Law and Market Regulation, Governance and Public Policy, Finance and Management, Business Environment, MSME, Insolvency and Bankruptcy, Independent Directors, CSR, Business and Human Rights, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Regulatory Governance, the library, HR, Finance or IT.
The minimum period is 1 month. It can go up to 6 months if the Internal Selection Committee recommends it. Start date can be any day of a month, based on the vertical’s need. Hybrid mode is allowed only if the competent authority says so. IICA can end the internship at any time without giving a reason.
Who should apply, and who should skip
Apply if you are a full-time student of a recognised college, or a young professional who finished studies within the last 6 months and is not in any other job. For law, the guidelines name a five-year or three-year degree, and say final-year students would be preferred. The committee decides on an institutional-need basis. Other printed courses: undergraduate or postgraduate courses, MBA or PGDM in social sciences, economics, commerce, finance, management, library science, mass communication, HR, social work, environmental sciences, IT, development studies, public administration, AI, cyber security, audit or public policy; CA, CWA or CS; and final-semester students on a research project of at least 20 weeks.
Skip if you are already employed. Skip if a coaching page asks you to pay for an IICA slot. The guidelines print no application fee. Skip if you cannot spare a full month. No leave is allowed. If the guide accepts an unavoidable absence, the internship may be extended by those days only. An intern has no claim to a job at IICA.

Full-time student of a recognised college, institute or university, or a young professional who completed studies within the last 6 months and is not employed. Law: five-year or three-year degree; final-year students preferred. Also open to the non-law courses named in the guidelines, and to CA, CWA and CS students. FAQs
Is there one last date?
The guidelines do not print one last date. Website applications are consolidated at the end of each month. The committee ordinarily sits in the first week. For October 2026, file before 31 October 2026 if you want that month’s scan.
What is the stipend?
₹10,000 per month, after the guide recommends the claim. If you take rent-free campus accommodation, the honorarium is ₹5,000 per month and you pay for food.
How many seats?
10 a month. Up to 15 only with approval. Not more than 3 interns in one vertical at a time.
Can a first-year law student apply?
The law line does not ban early years, but it says final-year students would be preferred. A first-year file is a weak file against that line.
Where is the board of other internships?
See the internship board. Apply on the institute site, not on this page.
