IBBI internship November 2026 runs on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India Internship Guidelines, 2023. The application must reach IBBI at least 30 days before the month you want. IBBI is the regulator under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. Interns sit in New Delhi and work on IBC-related files. This page is the standing internship, not the separate Research Associate / Consultant recruitment that closed in June 2026.
What IBBI actually does
IBBI regulates insolvency professionals, agencies and information utilities, and writes the subordinate law under the Code. Headquarters: 7th Floor, Mayur Bhawan, Connaught Place, New Delhi.
What kind of seat this is
Ordinarily one month, first working day to last working day of the month. Stipend printed: ₹10,000 lump sum per month. Workspace and internet are provided. You bring your own laptop. Leave during the month is not the model the guidelines describe. This is not a job offer.
Who should apply — and who should skip
Apply if you are pursuing a 3-year or 5-year law degree, or PG / M.Phil. / Ph.D. in Law, Economics, Commerce, Finance or Management, your college will sign the recommendation, and you can sit in Delhi for the full month.
Skip if you cannot be in Delhi, if the form will go without a college stamp, or if you are applying to a paid “IBBI certificate + internship” course page and think that is this scheme. IBBI’s own mail is intern@ibbi.gov.in.

Eligibility criteria
A student pursuing a five-year or three-year degree course in law, or a postgraduate course in Economics, Commerce, Finance, Management or Law, in any recognised School / College / Institute / University; or a student pursuing M.Phil. / Ph.D. in those subjects. Application in the annexed format with recommendation of the competent authority of the School. Incomplete forms and forms without recommendation are not considered.

- Do not treat NLUJ–IBBI paid certificate-course internship seats as this scheme. Those are a separate course.
